Action Housing and Support began supporting ex-offenders to resettle back into
their own communities over 30 years ago.
The organisation was formed by staff of South Yorkshire Probation Service to
provide accommodation with support in Sheffield and
Rotherham. These two projects formed the backbone of the
organisation, and are still in operation today.
Action Housing and Support now provide a wide range of support services to
vulnerable people including Offenders, Substance
Misusers, Young People and victims of Domestic Abuse.
We work throughout the Midlands and Yorkshire with services in: Derbyshire and
Derby City; Barnsley; Doncaster and Newcastle-under-Lyme, in addition to our
services in Sheffield and Rotherham.
Support to Clients is focussed on an individually tailored package to enable
independence and to help clients establish a home and live responsibly in
society. All work is undertaken on a multi-agency approach; keeping
involved agencies up to date with progress and success.
Action Housing Services are the housing management division, providing full
housing management services to all units of accommodation within our portfolio
to TSA standards. |
